“Very fortunate” motorist rescued after roof sheared off in crash with flatbed

Police are calling a motorist “very fortunate” after they survived a wreck with a flatbed that eliminated the roof of their automobile. 

The accident occurred at round 8 a.m. in Hollywood, Florida within the space of N. twenty ninth Avenue and Greene Avenue.

In line with NBC 6 Miami, the collision concerned a flatbed semi truck and a sedan. Footage exhibits firefighters working to tug the motorist out of the wrecked sedan, which might be seen partially beneath the trailer. 

The motorist was then taken to a close-by hospital as a trauma affected person. The extent of their accidents just isn’t clear. 

“The driving force could be very fortunate, luckily there was [sic.] no fatalities right here,” Hollywood Police spokesperson Christian Lata stated.
