Trucker ticketed after rear-ending two automobiles, placing illegally parked tow truck, Michigan troopers say

Michigan State Police (MSP) say {that a} semi truck driver was cited on Monday following a multi-vehicle collision in Belleville.

The crash occurred shortly after 4 p.m. on July 10 on I-94.

Troopers say {that a} semi truck was westbound on I-94 when it rear-ended two automobiles, “then misplaced management, drove down the correct ditch onto the N/B I-94 Service Drive, via the fence, finally placing an illegally parked tow truck on the shoulder of the service drive.”

No severe accidents had been reported.

MSP mentioned that each the semi truck driver and the tow driver had been cited following the crash.

“We all know that sure dangerous driving behaviors result in a lot of the crashes in Metro Detroit.” mentioned MSP First Lt. Mike Shaw, Public Info Officer. “Following too intently is likely one of the behaviors. You will need to go away sufficient room to cease your car safely.”
