Trucker hospitalized after flying chunk of ice from one other truck that destroyed his windshield

A truck driver was injured on Friday after a piece of ice from one other truck hit and shattered his windshield on Freeway 401 in Ontario.

The incident was reported round 11 a.m. on January 27 by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

Police say {that a} truck touring on Freeway 401 close to Courtice Street was struck by an ice missile that got here off one other truck.

The flying ice shattered the windshield on the driving force’s aspect.

OPP says that the truck driver suffered accidents that required hospitalization.
