Trucker arrested when 95 kilos of meth are present in trailer
California Freeway Patrol officers earlier this week arrested a truck driver after a drug-sniffing canine recognized 95 kilos of suspected methamphetamine in a tractor-trailer.
The motive force was detained after being stopped on northbound Interstate 5 at about 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 28.
Through the routine site visitors cease, the CHP officer observed what police referred to as “a number of indicators of prison exercise.” The officer referred to as for a drug-sniffing canine, which gave a constructive indication of the presence of medicine within the trailer.
4 suitcases containing the medicine have been discovered within the trailer.
CHP mentioned Officers the driving force was booked into Kern County Jail on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine on the market and transportation of the drug throughout noncontiguous counties.
