Three locomotives and 10 rail automobiles derail after placing truck carrying 134 foot concrete beam
A passerby captured beautiful video of a Norfolk Southern prepare placing a truck hauling an outsized load in Tennessee on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred round midday on December 20 at College Drive and Apison Pike in Collegedale, Tennessee.

Hamilton County Emergency Companies defined the circumstances resulting in the prepare derailment:
“In keeping with hearth officers, the driving force of the tractor trailer was stopped on the railroad tracks ready for the sunshine to show inexperienced on Tucker Street. Throughout that point, Norfolk Southern railroad activated its crossing arms. The tractor trailer was unsuccessful of clearing the railroad tracks and was hit by the prepare. Three locomotives and 10 railroad automobiles derailed and slammed into one another inflicting a disastrous mess!“
The truck was hauling a 134 foot concrete bridge beam, Collegedale Police say.
WTVC studies that two Norfolk Southern staff have been hospitalized. The truck driver wasn’t injured.
