Three lifeless in 5 car crash after southbound semi crossed into northbound Route 33

Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are investigating a a number of fatality crash involving a tractor trailer that occurred in Monroe County on Wednesday.

The crash was reported round 10:35 a.m. on March 1 in Hamilton Township, Pennsylvania.

Based on PSP Troop N Public Data Officer Anthony Petroski, a tractor trailer was southbound on Route 33 close to the Saylorsburg Exit when the truck traveled off the west berm and struck an embankment. The truck then reentered southbound Route 33 and veered southeast, putting a guardrail within the middle median after which coming into northbound lanes of visitors on Route 33.

The truck then struck a second semi and three different passenger autos.

Two of the three passenger autos got here to a cease beneath the semi truck that crossed the median. Each drivers have been pronounced lifeless at a hospital. A passenger in one of many autos that was beneath the semi truck died on the scene.

PSP didn’t present info on accidents.

The reason for the crash is below investigation by PSP.
