Smokey and the Bandit trooper dies
A Georgia trooper who was featured in “Smokey and the Bandit” died on Friday, the Georgia DPS studies.
Retired Grasp Trooper Ronnie Homosexual died on Friday night, October twenty first after serving in Georgia for greater than 30 years, WSBTV 2 studies.
Homosexual acted as a Georgia trooper in “Smokey and the Bandit” in 1977.
“Many people grew up watching the well-known scene of Grasp Trooper Homosexual in ‘Smokey and the Bandit,’ which impressed some to develop into troopers. He taught by his love and laughter of life to be real and compassionate to these we serve. This icon will likely be missed, and we ask that you just hold his household in your ideas as they mourn his passing,” Public Security officers wrote in a Fb publish.
“Marty and I had the pleasure of assembly him at a number of Georgia State Patrol occasions and seeing firsthand each his humor and his real concern for others,” Gov. Brian Kemp wrote in a Fb publish.
“We all know his laughter and spirit will likely be missed by his family members, those that labored alongside him, and his group. Marty, the women and I’ll hold his spouse, Debra, and their youngsters in our ideas and prayers within the coming days as they mourn this beloved husband, father, public servant and pal.”
Homosexual’s explanation for dying has not been launched.
