Semi truck spills load of fish, smelling up Washington freeway Thursday

An overturned semi truck stunk up a stretch of freeway after spilling its load of fish on Thursday morning. 

The accident occurred on September twenty first in Marysville, Washington at round 8 a.m.

Based on KATU 2, the truck overturned on Interstate 5, south of State Route 531, scattering the fish throughout the lanes of journey. All northbound lanes have been closed for nearly two hours as crews labored to wash up the smelly load. 

“Roll up your home windows in the event you’re driving by way of there. Significantly,” WSDOT wrote on social media. 

The rig was turned again upright by 8:40 a.m. and all lanes of the freeway have been reopened round 9:50 a.m.

Nobody was harm within the incident. It’s unclear what precipitated the overturn.
