Pitt Ohio Expands Service to New York State

Pitt Ohio has added 32 next-day lanes in an effort to enhance transit instances on the East Coast, the corporate introduced Jan. 23.

The Pittsburgh-based less-than-truckload service stated the brand new lanes have improved transit instances to New York state from the Mid-Atlantic. It now is ready to transport freight inside a day to and from their new terminals in Albany, Buffalo, Utica and Watertown.

“Expansions equivalent to this one to New York are a results of listening to our clients’ wants and responding with service and options they require,” stated Geoff Muessig, government vp and chief advertising and marketing officer. “Once we expanded into the complete state of New York again in August with direct service, our first goal was to rent drivers and workers to assist us enhance service requirements.”

Pitt Ohio introduced the growth into New York in August. That included providing direct service with the brand new terminals.

“Along with this improved service customary, shippers to and from New York can count on dependable LTL service and a variety of options for the logistics challenges they’re going through,” Muessig stated.
