One driver useless in fiery head-on crash involving two semi vehicles in Illinois

One truck driver is useless and one other was severely injured in a cross-over crash on an Illinois interstate over the weekend.

The crash occurred round 11:40 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, close to Ina, Illinois.

In response to Illinois State Police (ISP), a business automobile was touring south on I-57 at mile marker 83 when it crossed over the median and struck a second business automobile touring northbound on I-57.

The vehicles collided head-on and caught hearth.

One of many drivers was pronounced useless on the scene.

The opposite driver was airlifted to a hospital with severe accidents.

Northbound I-57 was shut down till round 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
