No arrests after out-of-control motorist fatally strikes trucker

No arrests have been made after an early morning wreck that killed a truck driver in Queens early on Wednesday. 

The accident occurred simply earlier than 3 a.m. on Wednesday, November ninth within the Queens neighborhood of New York Metropolis.

Based on the New York Publish, a 49-year-old trucker was outdoors of his rig after parking in an eastbound lane of Grand Avenue close to 57th Avenue when a sedan heading west on Grand Avenue crossed the double yellow line and struck him. 

The sedan then crashed into the parked tractor trailer. The trucker sustained “a number of accidents” within the incident and was pronounced lifeless on the scene. The motive force of the sedan stayed on the scene and was transported to a close-by hospital with minor accidents. 

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning.
