Multi-state I-70 police blitz happening this weekend

Regulation enforcement businesses are rising patrols on I-70 this weekend to crack down on dashing and different violations.

Beginning on Friday, October 8 at 12:01 a.m. by way of Sunday, October 10 at 11:59 p.m., the Ohio State Freeway Patrol, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Indiana State Police are becoming a member of forces to patrol I-70.

Through the patrol, officers might be looking out for dashing, impaired driving, and seatbelt violations.

The I-70 enforcement effort is a part of the 6-State Trooper Venture, a multi-state regulation enforcement partnership to advertise freeway security, prison patrol, and intelligence sharing.

A number of occasions every year, 6-State Trooper Venture member states the Ohio State Freeway Patrol, Indiana State Police, Kentucky State Police, Michigan State Police, Pennsylvania State Police and the West Virginia State Police be part of forces to fight site visitors violations and crime.
