Huge gas tanker fireplace closes I-10 in New Mexico

Authorities in New Mexico are investigating a gas tanker fireplace that pressured the closure of I-10 in Las Cruces in a single day and into Wednesday morning.

Firefighters responded round 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, to I-10 on the I-25 interchange in Las Cruces for a report of a industrial automobile fireplace on the I-10 flyover to I-25 north, based on the Las Cruces Hearth Division.
