Huge gas tanker fireplace closes I-10 in New Mexico

Authorities in New Mexico are investigating a gas tanker fireplace that pressured the closure of I-10 in Las Cruces in a single day and into Wednesday morning.
Firefighters responded round 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, to I-10 on the I-25 interchange in Las Cruces for a report of a industrial automobile fireplace on the I-10 flyover to I-25 north, based on the Las Cruces Hearth Division.
When crews arrived on the scene, they discovered a gas tanker truck utterly engulfed in flames “with fireplace extending from the bridge down onto the shoulder of I-10.”
Firefighters have been capable of extinguish the fireplace with assist from Hazmat groups and air assist by round 9:20 p.m.

Authorities say that that is believed to be a single automobile crash.
New Mexico State Police say no accidents have been reported.
“The I-10 flyover to I-25 is closed. Each instructions of I-10 are closed beneath the flyover. Eastbound visitors on I-10 is being detoured at College Avenue whereas I-10 westbound is being detoured on the Mesquite Exit. I-10 visitors is being detoured to south Foremost Avenue. The I-10 flyover and each instructions of I-10 will stay closed all evening and nicely into Wednesday whereas investigators map the world and crews clear particles.
