Grass fireplace triggered deadly crash involving ‘a number of semis, motor properties, and passenger automobiles’ in Oklahoma

Authorities in Oklahoma say that at the very least one individual died in a multi-vehicle crash in Noble County yesterday after smoke from a grass fireplace brought about low visibility situations.

The crash occurred on Tuesday afternoon on I-35 close to Tonkawa, Oklahoma.

Based on experiences, a close-by grass fireplace triggered decreased visibility situations and contributed to a crash that the Oklahoma Freeway Patrol (OHP) described as a “giant crash involving a number of semis, motor properties, and passenger automobiles.”

Authorities confirmed that one individual died within the crash.
