Former Idaho CDL abilities tester pleads responsible to accepting bribes in alternate for passing scores

A former employee with the Idaho Transportation Division (ITD) is dealing with as much as 20 years in jail after pleading responsible to expenses associated to a CDL testing bribery scheme.

Kelly Nathaniel Goodman, 71, pleaded responsible to a depend of sincere companies wire fraud as a part of a plea settlement, based on the U.S. Legal professional’s Workplace for the District of Idaho.

Goodman particularly pleaded responsible to accepting a bribe in alternate for a passing CDL abilities check rating on August 31, 2021.

Goodman was an Idaho CDL abilities check examiner from the Nineties till late 2021.

In line with authorities, with out the data of ITD, Goodman accepted bribes in alternate for passing scores on Idaho CDL abilities assessments, and between December 2017 and Could 2020, Goodman reportedly obtained not less than $38,000 in bribes as a part of the CDL abilities check scheme.

Goodman is scheduled for sentencing on June 22, 2023 and will face a most penalty of 20 years in federal jail and a $250,000 advantageous.
