Midwestern trucking firm Elmer Buchta has filed for chapter 11 after virtually 100 years in enterprise. 

Elmer Buchta LLC and three different related firms have filed for chapter 11 chapter this month. The businesses are owned by Transport Acquisitions LLC and function in southern Indiana, reported the US Solar.

Elmer Buchta is predicated out of Evansville, Indiana and has round 200 vans. The corporate has been in operation for greater than 80 years and lists its property between $1 million and $10 million. Its liabilities have been listed between $10 million to $50 million. 

A complete of 40 employees shall be laid off if the corporate undergoes a full liquidation.
