Electrical truck battery hearth requires a number of hearth departments to extinguish

An electrical semi truck caught hearth at a facility in Arizona on Monday, prompting a response from a number of companies.

The incident occurred in Tempe, Arizona on Monday, September 4th at round 5 p.m. at Arizona Lithium close to Kyrene and Elliot roads. 

In line with ABC 15 Information, hearth departments from Tempe, Phoenix, and Chandler all responded to the ability, the place they discovered a lithium-ion battery inside an electrical semi truck on hearth. The departments eliminated the truck from the constructing as a precaution and extinguished the fireplace. 

No accidents have been reported. The reason for the fireplace was not launched. 

Earlier this summer season, a number of Nikola electrical semi vehicles caught hearth in Phoenix, and one even reignited a month later. Nikola initially suspected foul play as the reason for the fireplace, however later blamed a battery defect, which prompted a recall.
