Electrical semi maker points recall for ‘all vans produced thus far’ attributable to seat belt difficulty

The Nikola Company issued a security recall for practically 100 electrical vans attributable to a seat belt defect.

The recall filed on September 14 is for 2022 Nikola Tre BEV Class 8 electrical semi vans.

In response to Nationwide Freeway Transportation Security Administration (NHTSA) paperwork, the recall was issued as a result of the corporate decided that the seat belt shoulder anchorage meeting could also be improperly put in, which might “create a weakened situation.”

The corporate says that the recall impacts all 93 Nikola Tre BEV autos which were produced thus far.

Nikola plans to start the proprietor notification course of on October 1, 2022.

The corporate says that they’ll exchange the parts of the seat belt shoulder anchorage meeting freed from cost.

In response to InsideEVs, the Nikola Tre BEV went into manufacturing on March 21, 2022, in  Coolidge, Arizona, following a pilot part in late 2021.
