CHP sends ‘heartfelt’ because of truckers who parked underneath bridge ‘to shorten the drop’ for individual in disaster
The California Freeway Patrol’s (CHP) Bakersfield Division lately thanked a bunch of truckers who volunteered to assist an individual experiencing a psychological well being disaster.
The incident occurred April 17 on the Lerdo Freeway over SR-99 within the Shafter space.
In accordance with CHP, an individual had crossed over the guardrail and was standing over the freeway lanes when officers arrived on the scene.
“We wish to lengthen a heartfelt thanks to the truckers and motorists in RV’s who volunteered to park throughout the freeway, shoulder to shoulder, underneath the topic, to shorten the drop. Your selfless actions assisted in our negotiating with the topic and bringing the incident to a peaceable and protected decision,” CHP stated.
CHP stated that the freeway was shut down for about an hour.
“Kindness prevails,” CHP stated.
