The California Senate Monday handed a invoice that requires a human security driver to be onboard any autonomous heavy-duty truck working on the state’s public highways.
The invoice, which handed by a margin of 36-6, now goes to Gov. Gavin Newsome, who is predicted to veto it. Newsome has lengthy been a supporter of the state’s expertise industries.
