Arson suspected after 9 semi vehicles are destroyed in fireplace

Authorities in Washington State are investigating a hearth that badly broken a number of semi vehicles on Sunday.

The fireplace began shortly after midnight early Sunday morning in a fenced-in car parking zone at 11400 Steele Avenue South in Parkland, Washington.

By the point that Central Pierce Hearth and Rescue arrived on scene, a number of semi vehicles within the lot had been on fireplace.

No accidents had been reported.

It took crews about 20 minutes to extinguish the hearth.

9 semi vehicles had been destroyed.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Workplace advised native outlet Kiro7 that the hearth is deemed suspicious and arson is being investigated as a trigger.
