$4 million price of meth discovered hid in tractor trailer roof

U.S. Customs and Border Safety (CBP) lately intercepted a big cargo of unlawful medicine stashed within the roof of a semi trailer.

The drug seizure occurred shortly after 9 a.m. on July 6 on the Tecate Port of Entry’s cargo facility situated in Tecate, California.

CBP officers encountered a 46 12 months previous truck driver on the facility trying to enter the U.S. from Mexico.

The tractor trailer was referred for a secondary inspection.

The automobile was scanned with non-intrusive imaging know-how. Officers detected an anomaly within the roof of the trailer.

CBP seized the medicine and the tractor trailer.

The truck driver was handed off to Homeland Safety for additional investigation and processing.
